From the University Student Challenge final report to the church, Kingswood has developed a 5 year Environment plan. The immediate action taken was to insulate the roof space above the most used and heated area, rooms 1 and 2.
Further work will take place over the next few years, on guidance from specialists, to reduce heat loss and to utilise renewable sources of energy. This will reduce the environmental impact using the buildings will have and reduce costs.
