Later on in this service we will share in an Agape meal so you will need to have a candle or small lamp, some bread or similar and a glass of water. This is a joint service with Grangewood Methodist Church.

Wollaton Methodists are together again welcoming you as we consider how Jesus offers hope instead of anxiety in times of change, teaching us and giving us rest. This week we’ll be following Kingswood’s ‘Interactive Worship’ format. This means that after introducing the theme with a dramatisation of the Bible reading and a song, we offer options for you to engage with the theme.
Option 1 - Meditation on Matthew 11:28 – Liz
- stick in mementos;
add verses from the Bible that are important to you.
This will become a great record of what you learn from God this summer which you can look back on!
Question 1 - Jesus says ‘take my yoke upon you and learn from me… my yoke is easy’ – what does this image say to you?
Question 2 – how does what you learn about Jesus from this saying, help you to ‘be’ as well as ‘do’?
These are the Worship at Home versions of the In Person Services, led by our Minister :-
Each Service has the videos of the songs and the Sermon or reflection.
The Song references (StF) are from the Singing the Faith song book.
The videos of the songs are linked to YouTube or vimeo which may have advertising which Kingswood Methodist Church does not endorse.
