STF 58 Lord, I come before your throne of grace
*Prayers
Lord, I look in wonder at the world you have created, a world that sustains life. I thank you for the gift of life and the joy of living in fellowship with others.
I confess that I have failed to live as you would have me live. Yet, even in confession, I know your forgiveness through the suffering and death of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours. Now and for ever.
Amen

STF 489 All I once held dear Graham Kendrick
Prayers of Intercessions
To our listening God we bring you our prayers for others.
Throughout our lives we go through many door some are good some are bad some give hope some bring anxiety. So today in our prayers we pray for people going through doors into new places this day.

We are listening God ......please hear us

We pray for people facing the door marked PUSH and they are unable to push because they have no strength left, no courage even here, in this year of covid we ask you to be with those people struggling because of ill health and mental health.
We are listening god ......please hear us
Now we see the people standing at the door marked PRIVATE many people feel that they are always on the outside and feel rejected and ignored.
We are listening God......please hear us
Then we see the door marked STAFF ONLY these people are unable to find work, they have tried for hundred of jobs and lost confidence this is particularly poignant in these times when people are facing unemployment because of the pandemic.
We are listening god......please hear us
Then we come to the door marked AUTOMATIC we pray for people facing this door where experience is anything but that. Here we should remember the rest of your troubled world the world that you created we are sorry that we have neglected it. So we ask you to be with countries troubled by conflict like Afghanistan, Ukraine, Yemen. We ask you to be with the people of Tonga following the recent Tsunami. We ask you to help those struggling.
We are listening god......please hear us
We now face the door marked DISABLED these people are often labelled as 2nd class and exception or a problem these are the marginalised and persecuted
We are listening god ......please hear us
Now we face the room CHANGING ROOMS many of these people often wonder how they must change to be acceptable to following the rules and who makes them.
We are listening God ......please hear us
Now we face the door marked ENTR4NCE and about the risks and expectations On following Christ and what it would cost. Gracious god you are the way through many doors throughout our lives give us the confidence to knock and enter to find to follow Jesus Christ, help us all to learn to listen to you. In the name of your son Jesus our friend and guide to our path. AMEN
