Karlsruhe

To begin with, letters were exchanged and then an opportunity presented itself for a small group of church members from Karlsruhe to fill some spaces on a coach visit coming to visit the YMCA in Nottingham.

Thus started a relationshipwhich has spanned over a quarter of a century and week long visits are exchanged every two years when members of each congregation stay with host families in Karlsruhe or Wollaton.

During the week there are opportunities to visit local places of interest, parties are held at church and there is time to worship and pray together as a Christian community.

Over the years many new friendships have been forged and old ones renewed and strengthened.
